About Me

Gábor Balla, editor, Budapest.
He has edited numerous short films, documentaries, TV series, commercials, music videos and event videos.

One of his works, Pragma (directed by Bianka Szelestey), won the Hungarian Film Critics’ Award for Best Short Film in 2023.
In 2019, she was accepted to study film editing at the University of Theatre and Film Arts. After the violent takeover, she continued her studies at the Free University in 2020. He studied at the Vienna Academy of Music and Performing Arts.

Gábor also holds a degree in Film Theory and Film History from the University of Szeged.

He also works as an assistant editor. He is currently assistant editor of Rozália Szeleczki’s first feature film (edited by Zsófi Érdi).
